The Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibromyalgia is more than a walk—it’s a powerful movement of hope, resilience, and community. Hosted by Social Butterflies Foundation, this annual event brings together lupus and fibromyalgia thrivers, families, caregivers, and supporters to unite around one mission: to make invisible illnesses visible.
Lupus and fibromyalgia affect millions, yet so many who live with these chronic conditions feel unseen and misunderstood. The Butterfly Walk creates a safe, uplifting space where community, encouragement, and advocacy come together—reminding every thriver that no one walks this journey alone. Together, we are Beyond Unbreakable.
Walk Day is a joyful, family-friendly experience often described as a reunion filled with music, fellowship, community vendors, wellness and resource booths, a lively Kids Corner, and a special appearance by Buzz Lightyear to delight our youngest supporters. Children 12 and under may participate for free with a registered adult.
Funds raised support Social Butterflies Foundation’s year-round free programs and services, including support groups, education, emergency financial assistance, scholarships, health fairs, summits, advocacy efforts, and research support. Every step and every dollar helps us move closer to our $20,000 fundraising goal and deepen our impact.
All participants receive a personal fundraising page and the opportunity to earn Butterfly Walk Rewards. The top three fundraising teams and top three individual fundraisers will be recognized during the event.
Whether you walk, donate, fundraise, or cheer from the sidelines, your support makes a meaningful difference. This isn’t just a walk—it’s a celebration of strength, unity, and hope.

- $35 Participant Registration– Includes an official event wristband. Walk shirt NOT included, but may be purchased separately.

$55 Virtual Registration – Walk anywhere, anytime; walk shirt and wristband included; walk package mailed to you
- $60 On-Site Registration– Includes official walk shirt and wristband. The Walk Shirt will be mailed to you.
To receive your walk shirt by Walk Day, please register by June 30.

Registered participants have the option to purchase additional shirts. Children’s shirts are $20. Adult shirts are $25. Shirts can be picked up from the T-shirt table on Walk Day. Virtual and On-Site registrants will receive their shirts by mail. Please be sure to provide accurate mailing addresses.

Walk day is filled with excitement, hope, unity, and encouragement. Families enjoy resource information, music, a kid’s corner, vendors, fellowshipping, and so much more. The Walk is a powerful experience that is often described as a huge family reunion. Our volunteers are an essential member of the Social Butterflies Foundation family. The Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibro is our largest event of the year, and it attracts hundreds of potential customers. We are pleased to announce that we have vendor opportunities for businesses to support the cause while showcasing their products and services. Your business will be promoted on Social Butterflies Foundation’s social media pages and the Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibro website. We will only accept one representative per direct sales company. Butterfly Walk Rewards
Register for the Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibro and raise funds to earn a recognition gift. Everyone who raises $100 will receive a 64″ Windproof Golf Umbrella as their reward in addition to the selection of any other earned reward. Approximately six weeks post-event, participants will be emailed to notify them of the reward level reached. Participants will have one week to email their selection. Reward items are not cumulative. Participants may select one item at or below the level achieved. Once you select your reward item, it will be shipped to you within 4 weeks. Social Butterflies Foundation reserves the right to substitute a reward of equal or greater value should the selected item be out of stock.
